If you squint your eyes just right it almost seems as if it’s still last year and nobody has moved away to college yet.
Seeing one of my sisters and my dad today makes me realize how much I really love home. I don’t always think about it or feel homesick all the time, but when they surprised me with a visit today, it made me wanna go back. I love college and mostly everything that comes with it, but being with them made me forget about it all and brought me back to how much I miss just being with my family. Having them here and seeing them leave to go back kind of made me really understand that I’m doing my own thing while they keep on doing there own together. I don’t know, I’m weird, but it sucks. I can’t explain it.
Gotta love Brentwood hahahaa.
Finals are officially over, and they are the farthest from my mind. These last four months have gone by so fast it’s crazy to believe I’m already 1/8 done with college. Even with the stress of work, I loved every moment and wouldn’t have changed any it. Now that first semester is over though, I definitely don’t mind being back home with my family and friends for a little while.
Really wish I was home right about now with them.
I always took our random, long conversations in the middle of the night while everyone else in the house was asleep for granted. I didn’t know how much they meant to you. I’m sorry I haven’t seen you in so long. I never stopped and thought about how much it hurt you.
Got home a few hours ago and I didn’t realize how much I enjoy just sitting in my den with my sisters as we talked about nothing while the tv plays in the background. I missed this.
If I ever told my family, they would be balling right now. I’m beyond excited to go, but freaking so scared to leave.
I don’t even understand how pumped I am for college.
