If you don't mind me asking, was that international internship program you were talking about International Bulldogs? I found that digging through the Yale website and it seemed really cool. Do they make it easy to apply/find internships?
No problem at all. The internships I applied for aren’t through International Bulldog, they’re through Yale’s chapter of AIESEC. Although I didn’t end up applying for internships through International Bulldog, the process seemed easy to apply/find internships. You kinda set up like a common application with a resume and cover letter. Some might require writing samples and other interviews. It definitely looked straight forward.
I would kill to go to Spain, but fuck I’ll go anywhere. I applied to a study abroad program there. Through another program, I’m deciding to apply to internships in Spain, Egypt, Croatia, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
I’m in the art studio with Pandora on, and the sound of an electric saw coming in from the next room, while attempting to do as much as work as possible before the start of the weekeend. As much as I would love being out right now, it’s actually nice being somewhat alone every once in a while not being bothered by people barging in, or surrounded by a thousand and one things going on.
When it’s midnight and I’m officially 19, chances are I’m gonna still be here doing work, feeling somewhat relaxed since the weekend will be that much closer. Even though I hate the idea of growing up, this weekend will definitely be dedicated to having a freaking amazing time. Practically every weekend is like that with the friends I have, but I can’t wait to share it with a few friends from back home, too.
I’m sitting in an empty art studio with all my work sprawled across the table and Spotify on, while I’m slowly getting shit down. I don’t know why I’m so much more productive here than in a my room or a library. Makes absolutely no sense, but if I literally have to go to a corner of campus to get work down so be it.
